Guided Birding with The Northwoods Land Trust and Trees for Tomorrow. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the birds that are traveling through our area, as well as year-round resident birds, with help from Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) staff and knowledgeable birder Frank Schroyer, Land Conservation Associate for the Northwoods Land Trust.
Thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Aylward Family and a partnership between TFT and Tara Lila LLC, this program is FREE. However, space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Participants will meet at TFT before caravanning to Tara Lila. Limited sets of binoculars and field guides be available to borrow so participants are encouraged to bring their own. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The hike will last approximately 60-90 minutes through 1-2 miles of occasionally unlevel terrain. A listening system and/ or tripod field chairs will be available for those who need them.
